A highly sought-after piece from Nigel Cabourn’s Limited Edition II: Scott’s Last Expedition collection, originally released in 2012 and limited to only 100 pieces worldwide. This smock was created as a tribute to Petty Officer Edgar Evans, one of the five men who accompanied Captain Robert Falcon Scott on the ill-fated Terra Nova Expedition to the South Pole.

The collection was inspired by original early 20th-century expedition garments, with Cabourn drawing from his extensive archive of vintage military, naval and exploration clothing. Rather than producing a standard fashion piece, this smock was designed as a historically informed garment — referencing the practical outerwear worn by polar explorers, while reworking it through Cabourn’s signature British heritage lens.

Constructed in a khaki check fabric with a substantial expedition-style silhouette, the smock features a large protective hood with faux-fur trim, oversized front utility pockets, storm-flap detailing, adjustable drawcords, metal eyelets, dark button hardware and a relaxed pullover fit. The fabric, pocket layout and overall construction give it a functional, almost museum-piece quality, staying true to the spirit of Cabourn’s best limited-edition work.

Originally retailing at approximately £2,000, this is an incredibly rare collector’s piece and one of the standout garments from the Scott’s Last Expedition series. A serious Nigel Cabourn archive item, built around British exploration history and produced in extremely limited numbers.

After receiving and inspecting your returned item(s), refunds may take up to 7 days to be processed.

Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method unless labeled as final sale.

Store credit will be issued for items which are reduced by 60% or more.

Returns are not accepted for:

Items labelled as final sale
Items not returned in original condition
Items damaged after collection
