Stone Island Piatina 82/22 “Toffee Wrapper” Jacket, released in 2022 to mark the brand’s 40th anniversary, celebrates four decades of textile innovation since its founding in 1982. The piece references Stone Island’s early experimentation under Massimo Osti, particularly the industrial-inspired fabrics that defined the brand’s identity from the start.
Constructed from Piatina 82/22, the jacket features a lightweight nylon base bonded with an ultra-thin aluminum foil layer. This metallic lamination creates the distinctive crinkled, reflective surface that gives it the “toffee wrapper” nickname. The fabric is wind resistant and lightly water repellent, with a crisp hand feel and high-shine finish that shifts with movement and light.
Designed as a hooded fishtail parka, it includes a full zip closure, adjustable cuffs, drawstring hem, and the removable Stone Island compass badge on the sleeve. The bold “82 22” graphic printed across the back commemorates the 40-year milestone. After receiving and inspecting your returned item(s), refunds may take up to 7 days to be processed.
Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method unless labeled as final sale.
- Store credit will be issued for items which are reduced by 60% or more.
Returns are not accepted for:
- Accessories (e.g., hats, socks, undergarments)
- Items labelled as final sale
- Items not returned in original condition
- Items damaged after collection
International Orders
International orders are considered final sale once dispatched for change of mind, sizing issues, customs charges, import duties or delivery delays.

Customers are responsible for any return postage, customs charges, import duties and fees related to international returns. Original international shipping costs, customs charges and import duties are non-refundable.
